What a brilliant introduction with word clearing by Brother Delxino. That set the tone for listening to the audio while reading the speech. It was educational and most inspiring. I found myself stopping the audio and writing things from the speech on index cards to place at my work station to remind and inspire me.

What a speech!! To the people of the World.

The context Brother Delxino provides is essential, both in terms of the glossary including archaic English words such as hewer, and when Marcus Garvey gave the speech. I learned from Brother Delxino's commentary that Marcus Garvey gave this speech after he had been falsely charged with mail fraud as part of the government's attack on his work. That he knew he was going to be imprisoned in Atlanta makes this speech so much more pressing and it's no wonder he was so intense during this speech.

This is a treasure! For me, this is one of the best 18 minutes of my life. The preparation done in the introduction by Delxino (and team) was spot on. It was an honor to listen to Garvey speak. By providing a posted script and clearing certain words ahead of time, I was able to understand and keep up all the way through, pausing and backing up ever so often to savor the strength, courage, sincerity, and determination in the formula and spirit of his words. On multiple occasions, the written words disappeared and were replaced by actual visual images and music playing (perhaps even replaying) in my mind instead. This may very well be one of the best written speeches in all of history with the most spirited delivery ever by Garvey himself.

I love the Whirlwind speech. This speech while reopening my spirit and consciousness gave me knowledge and more understanding of my plight. How to truly help my Race. We do have to understand the time and the season we now live in. During my mother's generation in the 1930's she did not understand the magnitude of what was available to her. Their consciousness would not allow them to see. Now that we are conscious. "If we must die". Let us die as the New Negroe. We are the New Negroe standing up for our Race. Our backs are not against the walls. We will not allow other races to innovate us again. We are the succor to build Garvey Nation. Garvey Nation helps build posterity. This is our message and our mission as the New Negroe. We were and are Simon of Cyrene carrying the cross and freeing our people. When we unite as builders of Garvey Nation we promulgate a doctrine of our own. We are creating our own Government. By our people and for Our people. Let us Rise and continue to Build. We are reaching out Noon Day. Garvey Nation recreated in 2024 like Johnnie Walker we are still growing strong. We are like So Journer Truth worthy to be called heroes.
